This Advertising Measurement Notice explains a limited conversion-measurement activity operated by CRTWAVE, a store of VELMORA GLOBAL LIMITED. It supplements, and does not replace, our Privacy Policy. For privacy questions, contact support@crtwave.com.
What we measure
When Shopify's available analytics, marketing, and sale-of-data settings allow it, we may send these conversion events: items_added, checkout_started, and checkout_completed (which is relayed as order_created). Each event may include its type, time, and a pseudonymous event ID. A checkout-started or checkout-completed event may also include the amount and currency. Where available, we may use an oppref advertising click reference to attribute an event to an advertisement.
A checkout-completed event is a measurement signal only. It is not proof that a payment has settled, cleared, or been accepted.
Information we do not proactively send
We do not proactively send your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, raw order ID, or a full page URL in these conversion events. We also do not proactively forward your IP address or user-agent to OpenAI as user information. Pseudonymous information is not the same as anonymous information.
Cookie and your choices
We may use the first-party crtwave_oa_ref cookie to retain an advertising click reference for up to 30 days. You can make a choice through our data-sharing opt-out page and through any Shopify consent controls made available to you. If you refuse or withdraw permission, this integration stops future measurement and attempts to clear the reference cookie where your browser permits. We do not promise that withdrawal deletes events already submitted to a recipient.
How the measurement is processed and retained
Events are sent through a Cloudflare Worker relay to OpenAI. We keep hashes of the event ID and payload, together with delivery status, for no more than 8 days to prevent duplicate delivery. We do not retain the full event payload, and application-level payload logging is disabled. Cloudflare, OpenAI, and other infrastructure providers may still process basic network information for security and service operation; a network IP may be handled briefly by our relay to prevent abuse.
Your shopping experience and other rights
